SERVICES
the garden edit
£95.00 to £295.00
A relaxed, advisory session where we explore your garden together, more like two friends chatting over coffee than a formal consultation. You bring a notepad, I bring years of garden design experience, and we bounce ideas in real-time so you leave with practical, actionable insights you can start using straight away.
It’s flexible too: virtual sessions mean location isn’t a barrier, and if you prefer an
in-person visit, I’m happy to travel within a set radius for a small additional travel fee. Please find out more below.
Who This Is For:
Homeowners who want clear, practical guidance before committing to a full redesign
People who feel stuck and need a designer’s eye to unlock ideas and next steps
DIY-minded gardeners who want expert input while staying hands-on
Anyone who prefers a relaxed, conversational approach rather than a formal consultation
what’s included:
-
Your consultation can be held virtually or in person. Either way, you’ll show me around your garden while I offer tailored feedback, practical suggestions, and design ideas on the spot, responding to what I can see and how the space works for you.
Ahead of our session, you’ll receive a short prep sheet with a few gentle prompts. These cover what you love and don’t love, how much time you realistically have for maintenance, how you want the garden to feel, who uses it most, and your budget and timeframe. It means we can dive straight into what matters.
Our conversation is recorded and transcribed, so nothing is lost. Afterwards, you’ll receive a clear summary of everything we discussed, along with a simple priority action list, practical next steps to move your garden forward with confidence.
Please note: If you would prefer to meet in person, an additional £85 applies to cover travel time and fuel within a 20 mile radius of Frome, Somerset. You can add this option at checkout. -
For an additional fee, I can pull everything we discuss into a clear, professional report you can refer back to, including a mood board to capture the visual direction, a planting palette with suggested styles and key species, a practical materials list, and my recommended three phased next steps to help you begin with confidence.
This session is ideal for homeowners who want expert input but prefer a DIY or phased approach, for anyone feeling stuck or unsure where to start, or for those wanting clarity before committing to a full design package.
